Cruiser-Car head-on collision: Two killed

A head-on collision between a car and a cruiser resulted in the death of two people near Bhimana Cross in Kamalapur taluk of the district.

Those who died in the accident have been identified as Mohammed Abdul Majeed Siddiqui (71), a resident of Hanumkonda Nagar, Telangana, and Sadia Unnisa Begum (55), a resident of Balajinagar, Hyderabad.

The injured Hussain, Farhat Sultana and Intima Sultana have been admitted to Gyms Hospital in Kalaburagi for treatment.

A car coming from Telangana to Khwaja Bande Nawaz Dargah in Kalaburagi collided head-on with a cruiser going from Kalaburagi to Bidar's Guru Nanak Temple.

A case has been registered at Kamalapur police station.
